Aahh...
Aahh is performed by Natascha Ruegg in 2008. I was working on how the body of the performer is represented in the spectators' mind, how the boy is represented in space. In particular, how the different perspectives of the body can be combined to one coherent whole.
During the performance, Natascha was surrounded by projections of projections of her (as in this picture). She perfomed movement phrases that were created with somatic images (visual, tactile, proprioceptive). She had to make instanenious decisions on when to change from one movement phrase to another and how to execute the movement phrase (lying, standing). The rehearsal process and the recordings are visible in the video.
The research process was referenced in the book "The Neurocognition of Dance".
